Our group classes are crafted to lay the groundwork for your dog’s behavioral success, going beyond the basics and nurturing stronger skills week by week.
In our group class, you’ll learn about our focus-based training philosophy, which is based on your dog focusing on you in all situations. When a dog is focused on you, that means they are engaged with you, and looking to you for leadership.
Please note that these classes are not intended to fix or address aggression or reactivity issues.

How The Program Works
We’ll start by teaching you and your dog the “watch me” command, then progress to “sit”, “down”, come when called, “heel”, “stay”, and “place”. Our campuses provide ample opportunities to introduce your pup to distractions.
Throughout our engaging sessions, you and your furry friend will tackle essential behaviors such as:
- Captivating attention and redirection techniques
- Cultivating rock-solid stays and recalls
- Curbing unwanted jumping habits
- Mastering the “leave it” command
- Perfecting leash manners for pleasant walks

As an officially sanctioned American Kennel Club (AKC) class, every participant has the exclusive opportunity to earn their coveted AKC Puppy Star or Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate. These prestigious accolades not only showcase your dog’s obedience and manners but open doors to exciting endeavors like therapy work or dog sports.
AKC Puppy Star
In order to pass the AKC Puppy STAR test, your dog needs to be free of aggression toward other people and dogs, tolerate a collar or harness, allow you and others to handle it, to allow you to take away a treat or toy, and follow basic obedience commands such as sit, down, come, and walk on a leash.
AKC Canine Good Citizen
The AKC Canine Good Citizen test requires your dog to accept a friendly stranger, sit or stand politely for petting and examination, walk through a crowd on a loose leash, come when called, be neutral to distractions and other dogs, and allow their owner to go out of sight for 3 minutes. Our professors are well-equipped to help you and your dog pass all of these tests, and to improve your skills and your dog’s!

What To Expect
Each week, we’ll give you items to work on at home with your dog so that you can make progress with your pup!
Our small group classes are limited to six dogs per 8-week class, giving you and your dog a lot of one-on-one time with our trainers. These classes are a great opportunity to socialize your dog and get them used to the presence of other pups. Your dog will learn self-control and calmness, which means that you will be able to take them anywhere with their good manners!
In our group class, your dog will learn the following behaviors:
